I don't know who greenlit this project but they should stay away from the anime industry, really.

While the previous season was somewhat bearable, this season is nothing but a train wreck. Starting from the comedy. The references were too overused and dried. It seems like the studio tried too hard to be the second coming of Gintama but it failed miserably. FYI, it wasn't like this in the manga so these references are anime original (Yes, I read the manga. It's just a bit better than the anime, spoiler alert).

Characters are too tropey, cringey, and not even funny at all. Like that muscle head guild master. The horny old-man principal. That yandere student council's president. The list goes on and on. It seems like the author misunderstood the word 'funny' for 'cringe' and thought it was a surefire way to write funny characters. Somebody needs to tell him that he's dead wrong.

The story is a mess. It jumped around with some random and disconnected subplots. The main plot (if you believe it has one, that is) had never been touched until the very last episodes. Suddenly, there's this group of suspicious people trying to destroy the world came out of nowhere. The story keeps introducing its members one by one just to kill them off in the very same episode (and revived them all with the power of love). There's no build-up whatsoever. All of them feel like they came out of the author's second thoughts and I believe that was really what happened.

And does anyone remember there was supposed to be some kind of conflict between demons and humans? I wonder where that goes.

The only thing I like about this (yes, there's a thing I like) is Nano's opening theme which I have been waiting for her new songs this whole time. Too bad it has to be attached to this train wreck of an anime. Even so, the song itself is still far from her usual standard. If you don't believe me, try listening to Savior of Song and Sable to see how much better those two are. Anyway, it's still a good song.

Seriously, I wish this won't get the season 3. There are tons of shows that never have gotten the chance but then we have this. If the studio is too desperate to work on something, they can just randomly pick one from that list. 1.5/10, I think I found the contender for Worst Anime of The Year.

You really vent out your frustration regard the show with long a*s essay and end up with 1.5 out of 10 lmao. I will forget this sh*t show as soon as tomorrow. I will probably drop this show if they happen to get season 3. Season 1 is alright hence i continued season 2, but season 2 is pretty much unbearable and I'm not gonna torture myself anymore. Yeah the eyes thing was cringe but that was the only best thing about this episode other than Despra went the Obito route at the end.

Also the best thing about this anime is the OST's

Personally, I'm not a fan of anime's where the females are taken advantage of in certain ways. Two of those anime's spring to mind, the first is called white album... the mc was gifted the virginity of one of the girls and then dropped her right after for another girl. I watched the first season, couldn't be bothered to watch the second. The other anime I cant recall the name of but it's somewhat famous. The crazy girl was abused by several guys during a school event which caused a psychotic break and later on cut the head off the mc's pregnant partner and gifted it to him in a bag before chasing him and taking his head too.

School Days? That's not quite how I remember the ending but parts of what you said jog the memory.
It was a simpler time back then, back when most of the foreign Anime community had no idea what a 'Bad End' was School Days came in like a Yandere with a Meat Cleaver looking through your innards for a fetus.

yea it was school days, seems I remembered wrong on the ending but a decapitation was still included just on the mc not the pregnant girlfriend. That anime was a good example of why you should never put your junk in crazy.

the problem with this season js that we got way too much from the none seiichi group side characters i call it the " gutsle phenomenon" cuz sure this show is generic but thats not the problem. this season in particular tried too hard at being funny and pulled a " thor love and thunder" and didnt focus on the mc enough( properly) or really progress the plot all that well. personally if you're going to be that silly then at least have some steamy nudity, badass action, and characterization. and perhaps stop screaming into the mic for EVERY SCENE. 6/10 cuz i happen to like this show, but other than a few, somewhat interesting plot points, season 1 was better.

I'm not judging your taste but there's way worse things in the show than what you mentioned. Plus I can't stand the gorilla they keep shoving in my face

for the record i like most good/ excellent manga/ anime. This show is merely "a guilty pleasure" at best. personally I'm more of a slime , or jobless caliber isekai kinda of guy. My other issue with this show is that it aired along side all of the precious gems from winter 2023

Season 1 was actually pretty good like a 7/10 or 6/10 this Season is basically a 4/10 it has bad plot and bearly developed the Main Character or Plot Forward

(Known for only very little titles of anime such as Sparrow's Hotel, Ishida to Asakura + special, and Shiba Inuko-san aside from the two season of Fruits of Evol.)

Personal perspective:
This will be broken down into two parts.

Part 1:
The overall of this isekai is as generic fvking 💩 as it's gets.

S1 was being a parody version of Arifureta with being a combo of that RPG anime and bringing in so many breaking the 4th wall references and the Gary Stu character being like a Kirito character with the SAO reference. Which that season wasn't too overly bad.

While S2 is Arifureta aspect gone "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime!" school arc cross with Jujutsu Kaisen with overs usages of references like Jojo to Fist of the North Star, other trying to pull a Gintama thing.

Part 2:
This abundant amount of references and trying to put it as gag comedy was piss poor bad and pile of fvking sh-it. If you want to put comedy with those shonen references and other, try watching Boku np Robuko since it's a shonen gag series breaking the 4th and using those references to begin with or go watch Gintama.

Personal thoughts:
S1 had has a mediocre story with so so animation and easy enough to understand which I laugh a bit at it with some of it's comedy. While S2 had some improvements in the animation in some points but the story plot line (which it barley had fvking any...) was weak and sucks monkey's b*ll.

This season was a chore to get through and most of points I was down right board.
A lot of this was a cheesy and and a massive cringefest to highest settings on Vegtia's scouter.

The overused references of comedy was fvking sh-it-ty bad that drench from some shmucks brain that looks like it was leaking like when some dudes n*t is is sweating and that foul odor you smell and makes you sick 🤢🤮

What be funnier would be 2 mimes doing a Mortal Kombat fight skit to death while doing the robot.

Personal words:
For me seeing this was really in the past couple of weeks cause at first I want to and I did with a binging while also watching both seasons of "Vampire Dies in no Time" which is a better gag comedy anime worth watching and the references there were done better.

This anime gives these hash tags good meaning.

Many hated this adaptation. I'm glad I didn't even watch the first season.

I don't really hate this but I'm a vulcan with series since this was so bad and emotionalist like my whole attitude to this and yes this was crap.

I won't even watch. (And I was wanting to see it, but after it got a lot of negative feedback, my will went to zero.)

Yeah it's a waste of time, and if you haven't watch S1 yet than avoid completely.
